Here we all are again, at the DMU Hackathon 2014. Things have been really quiet on this blog for a while, but now we are all back together, so far we have been able to get our app up and running, we have set up this website, and we have a Facebook page and a twitter feed. That all sounds very industrious and it has been. I know for myself I have done things that I never thought I would ever do. For example go to a Hackathon, but here I am at my second one. It has been really good to see one another again, to reconnect and see our passions and interests are still there. Young people with Autism still need help to navigate their way through life with as little stress as possible, and whilst we know that this is not a realistic possibility, we will work as hard as we can to eliminate as much stress as we can.
We are here to continue our work on our Autisme App, working on version 2 and getting it out on iOS. I think that what I have learned form this whole experience is that you can step out of your comfort zone and do things that you never thought you would ever do, exactly like our Autistic young people have to do everyday.
